Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-26
The agreement
These terms cover your use of the PaperPlane desktop application and this website, both operated by dhq-boiler, an individual developer based in Japan.
Your licence
A paid subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use PaperPlane on the computers you personally use, for as long as the subscription is active. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the software.
Subscription and billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose, through Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record for the sale. Paddle handles payment, invoicing and applicable taxes. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Trial
The 14-day trial requires no payment details and ends by itself. Nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe.
Your mail and your accounts
You are responsible for the mail accounts you connect and for having the right to access them. PaperPlane acts only as a client to those accounts on your behalf.
Warranty and liability
PaperPlane is provided as is. It reconstructs conversations from mail headers as faithfully as those headers allow, but it does not guarantee that every message is retrieved, linked or delivered, and it is not a substitute for your own judgement. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to active subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
